I finally finally got my drums for Rock Band 2...and the yellow pad doesn't work. Doesn't register at all that I'm hitting it. *HEADDESK*

AND OF COURSE you can't just return the blasted thing to the store--oh no! You have to contact EA & jump through hoops, etc. until they're willing to send you a new one.

I'm going camping this weekend to hopefully get over the Power Rangers obsession.  Hiking & not being near my computer for two days should make an impact.  I hope.

Went to Reel Big Fish tonight, and they were amazing as ALWAYS.  I <3 them muchly.  First time I saw them live was a Warped Tour appearance in San Antonio, where they literally caused a riot.  I enjoy their CDs for the a) silliness b) mockery and c) horns (I LOVE horns--put horns in any kind of song and I'll listen to it--I'm a horn whore.  Ha!).  ( Read more... )

So, the dude from OK Go was just on the Colbert Report, and OMG, why did no one tell me of the hilarious videos?!

I've obtained perfectly legally downloaded a couple of their songs, and like them (yay for basslines!), but...OMG, the awesomeness of the videos!  The ghetto-fabulous choreography!  I very likely woke my neighbors with my laughter!!
